Don’t miss this signature Los Angeles Event. There are many Beard and Mustache competitions in the world. NOTHING comes close to the fun and variety of beards and moustaches found in Los Angeles.

Presented by the Los Angeles Beard & Mustache Club, a club of over 1100 Facebook members  and more than 50 active local members, and who’s president and founder, John Myatt, is a 2011 world champion and reigning national champion in “Groomed Beard”.

The Los Angeles Beard & Mustache Club’s membership also holds a variety of competitive winners as well. Including Nate Johnson 1st place winner of the Los Angeles Bead & Mustache Competition 2011 and 3rd place national champion in the partial beard category.

This event promises to be fun, exciting and elegant and will draw competitors from all over the country and Europe.

This year’s competition will be held at the historic and beautiful Belasco Theater located in Downtown Los Angeles right next door to the historic Mayan Theater.

The theme for 2012 is classic Hollywood and the 1920’s. We encourage all of our visitors to get in the spirit and try your hand at an elegant look, too.

The beard and mustache community (Yes! There is actually a large community of beard and mustache enthusiasts and competitors!) love to get down, and that’s just what we will be doing.

2012’s competition features a full day of entertainment including live bands, DJs, raffles, old time photo booth, celebrities and live entertainment. There is even a vendor village full with local merchants selling incredible wares and apparel.

And don’t forget the amazing bartenders serving at 4 separate bars and gourmet food from some of LA’s most famous and sought after food trucks!
