Beards

Business Beard – This category is for shorter beards groomed by means of shaving and trimming. There must be an unbroken line of unshaven face from the temple to the chin to the other temple. Short, tight, and edged. Register Now

 

 

Groomed Beard–This category is for shorter full beards groomed by means of shaving, triming, and/or the use of styling products. There must be an unbroken line of unshaven face from the temple to the chin to the other temple. Register Now

 

 

Full Beard Natural – Portions of the cheeks can be partially shaven as can the neck, but there must be an unbroken line of unshaven face from the temple to the chin to the other temple. Trimming is allowed but this category is for fuller, longer full beards that have been allowed to achieve their natural fullness and shape. Register Now

Moustaches

Styled Moustache – The moustache is the hair that grows on the upper lip but can also include hairs growing from elsewhere on the face that are a natural extension of the shape of the moustache. Therefore Fu Manchus, walruses, and horseshoe styles are all considered mustaches. Styling aids are allowed. Register Now

 

Natural Moustache – This category is all natural. No styling aids allowed. Register Now

 

 

Partial beard 

Goatee -Facial hair grown ONLY on chin, upper and lower lip.

Sideburns/Mutton Chops – Facial hair can be grown only on cheeks and upper lip. Register Now

 

 

Freestyle

Freestyle – Anything goes. In this category the judges will be asked to determine which contestant’s facial hair is the most creative and artistic. Note: Competitors that do not fit into another category will be placed into Freestyle. Register Now

Whiskerina – This is for the ladies. Show what the good lord neglected to give you and show us what could have been. Pick a theme for your beard or mustache – creativity is key. Judges will look at craftsmanship, creativity, and overall appearance when voting on the best Whiskerina competitors. Click here for a video explanation  Register Now
